“Hi Jenna, we had a lovely weekend in your cosy home.”“Hi Jenna, we had a lovely weekend in your cosy home. Thank you for your great local recommendations regarding the clay pigeon shooting, it was enjoyed by all. Thank you for being flexible with the check in and check out times, that made Sunday morning less rushed and gave us all the time we needed. The home was as described, we loved the high ceilings and the antique furniture. Thanks for being a great host!”

“Jennas place was lovely. We had a really great time there.”“Jennas place was lovely. We had a really great time there. It is set right in the centre of Kendal, just over the footbridge, but you'd never know when you're in it. It is quite, peaceful and sitting in the garden is lovely. There are quite a few stairs, which wasn't a problem for us but worth noting. The kitchen is full of utensils but if cooking bring your own oil, cling film etc. There were some herbs in the cupboard and Jennna kindly left us some milk. The house was absolutely spotless, rooms were massive and the beds and sofas were comfy. The hosts were really responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“My family and I stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding nearby. The house was absolutely perfect.”“My family and I stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding nearby. The house was absolutely perfect. It was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was really well stocked with equipment and the house was well maintained. We stayed during a summer heatwave but the tiled floors and large sash windows helped to keep us cool. The garden was very large so great for getting outside. It’s just a short stroll into Kendal and perfect for accessing the wider Lake District.”

The house is gorgeous! Big spacious rooms and bedrooms. Kitchen has everything, if a little dated. There are boxes of nice kids toys, which went down very well. Games and books too. “We really enjoyed our visit to Jenna's property, the location was perfect for the town centre and had a lovely garden and off-road parking.”“We really enjoyed our visit to Jenna's property, the location was perfect for the town centre and had a lovely garden and off-road parking. Entering the house made quite an impression with the large Victorian tiled hallway and stairs. The decoration and feel of the house was very in keeping with the age of the property. The bathrooms were modern, new and sparkling, great showers. The kitchen was of an older style, but well equipped and a welcome pack and essentials kindly provided, so that you can have a lovely cuppa after your journey, and don't arrive to no supplies, which was very appreciated. The two main bedrooms were very generous in size and very comfortable. The twin bedroom would be better for children, but perfectly adequate. The dining and living room were a great size again, and comfortable but could maybe do with an additional sofa or extra chairs to cater for the 8 guests that the house can accommodate. All in all, we loved it and had a lovely stay and would return.”
