Not every stay fits neatly into Olrig Bank (max 8 guests), Olrig Bank++ (max 12 guests) or Cottage at Olrig Bank (max 4 guests). If your plans fall outside the standard ways to stay, get in touch directly — Jenna is happy to discuss whether a bespoke arrangement can be made.
Bespoke requests we can often accommodate include:

- Larger groups using flexible sleeping arrangements such as airbeds or sofa beds

- Unusual combinations of accommodation and overflow sleeping space
How it works
Every bespoke request is considered individually, since availability, fire safety and practical space vary depending on what’s being asked. When you get in touch, please include:
- Your preferred date(s) and how long you’d like to stay
- Total number of guests, including any children and their ages
- Any specific sleeping arrangements you have in mind (e.g. airbeds, own bedding)
- The nature of the event or occasion, if relevant
- Any other requirements we should know about

Can I book Olrig Bank for a single day?
Sometimes — single-day and short stays can be considered for events, gatherings or day use, subject to availability. Get in touch with your dates and plans and Jenna will confirm whether this can be arranged.
Can we bring more guests than the listed sleeping capacity?
In some cases, yes. Extra guests can sometimes be accommodated using airbeds, sofa beds or bedding you bring yourself. Please tell us your total group size so we can confirm whether this is practical and safe for your stay.
Can I hire Olrig Bank for a specific event?
Yes, we’re happy to hear about events such as birthdays, wedding gatherings or reunions. Let us know what you have planned and we’ll confirm whether Olrig Bank, Olrig Bank++ or a bespoke arrangement is the best fit.
Is a bespoke stay more expensive?
